If the player reaches his team's court without exhaling, touching one or more players of the opposing team, then his team gets a point.

The player going out has to say kabaddi only while exhaling. If the player breaks his breath before he reaches his court, he is ruled out and taken off the field by the referee. If he touches one or more players and reaches his court without a breath, the player in the custodian sidekicks the player touched by the referee out, giving the offensive team a point.

During this, the players of the guarding team cannot cross the line drawn in the middle of the field. Along with this, another line is drawn, which will not be dismissed if the player of the attacking team touches it while returning to his court and starts breathing after that.

Out players are temporarily out of the field. Points are earned when the player of your opposing team is sent off the field. kabaddi game rules

Kabaddi has many different rules because of the variety of ways it is played. Its basic rules are given below.

This is a 'highly contact sport', in which the main objective of a player is to go to the court of his opponent, touch them and come back to his court successfully. The player going during this is called Kabaddi Kabaddi.

Each match should be for 40 minutes. During this, the player ' raids' in the court of the opposing team. The player who raids is called a raider. The raid begins as soon as a player enters the court of his opponent.

The player of the opposing team handling the raider is called the defender. Opportunities for the defender to get out the raider are available according to the situation. The maximum time for any raid is 30 seconds. During the raid, the raider has to do kabaddi kabaddi rut, which is called chant.

There are two ways a raider can earn points once a raider has entered the defender's court. In this, the first is the bonus point and the second is the touchpoint.

kabaddi game points

Some points are earned in this game in the following way –

Bonus Points: If the raider reaches the bonus line in the presence of six or more players on the defender's court, the raider receives a bonus point.

TouchPoint: Touch when the raider has successfully returned to his court after touching one or more defender players.

Point is received. This touchpoint is equal to the number of defenders touched. Players touched by the defender have been kicked off the court.

Tackle Points: If one or more defenders force the raider to remain on the defending court for 30 seconds, the defending team receives a point instead.

All Out: If all the players of a team can get out of the field by completely dismissing their opponent team, then in return the winning team gets 2 extra bonus points.

Empty Raid: If the raider comes back after crossing the Bouchal line without touching any defender or without touching the bonus line, it is considered an empty raid. No team gets any point during the empty raid.

Do or Die Raid: If two consecutive empty raids are made by a team, then the third raid is called the 'Do or Die' raid. During this raid, the team must earn either a bonus or touchpoints. Failure to do so gives an extra point to the defending team.

Super Raid: The raid in which the raider scores three or more points is called a super raid. This can be a combination of a three-point bonus and a touch, or it can be just a touchpoint.

Super Tackle: If the number of players in the defender team becomes three or less than three, and that team can handle and dismiss a raider, then it is called Super Tackle. The defender team also gets an extra point for a super tackle. This point cannot be used to revive the dismissed player.

International Kabaddi game rules

The rules of Kabaddi are somewhat different during the world-class World Cup. Below are given the main parts of those rules one by one.

During the group stage, if a team beats its opponent by a margin of more than 7 points in the match, the winning team gets 5 league points. Whereas the losing team gets zero league points.

If the winning team's margin of victory is 7 or less than 7 points, then the winning team gets 5 league points and the losing team gets 1 league point.

In case of a tie, both the teams are given 3- 3 league points. After the tie of the group match, which team will go to the semi-finals is decided by a kind of 'differential score'. For a team, this score is shown by the difference between the total points earned and the total allowable points. The team with the maximum 'differential score' advances to the semi-finals.

If the scores of two teams are equal in the differential score, then in such a situation the total score of the teams is seen. The team that scores the most points is sent to the semi-finals.

Extra time in Kabaddi

This rule is present during the final and semi-final matches in the World Cup. If a match of 40 minutes is tied during the final and semi-final, the game is extended to extra time.

In the event of a tie in a semi-final or final match, 7 minutes extra match is played. This time is divided into two parts with a break of one minute. Each part is of three minutes.

With any seven best players from their twelve-player squad, the two teams again compete for seven minutes. During this time, the coach of any team is not allowed to coach 'time out'. However, with the permission of the line umpire or assistant scorer, the coach can stay with the team.

During extra time only one player is allowed to substitute. This replacement of the player can happen only during the break of one minute. Even after these seven minutes, if the match remains a tie, then the Golden Red Rule is used.

Golden red in Kabaddi

During this there is a toss, the team winning the toss gets a chance for the Golden Raid. During this time the ballot line is considered as the bonus line. Both the parties get this opportunity once in a while. Even after this, if the condition of the tie remains, then the winner is decided by toss.
