His father's name was Mir Taj Mohammad Khan, who was from Peshawar and he used to run a transport company from Pakistan. His mother's name was Lateef Fatima, who was a magistrate. His father was Pathan and his mother was Hyderabadi. He lived in a rented house. His parents had a love marriage. When Shahrukh was 15 years old, his father died of cancer in 1981. The love story of Gauri and Shahrukh is not less than the story of any film. For the first time in 1984, at a party, Gauri was dancing with a friend, and Shahrukh wanted to talk to Gauri. but failed to talk due to his shy personality, after gathering a lot of courage, when asked, Gauri refused to dance with him. Then Gauri was with her brother. Then Gauri started liking Shahrukh's style and both of them started meeting again and again. When Shahrukh saw Gauri for the first time, Gauri was 14 years old, but their love life was not so easy. Shahrukh started stopping Gauri for many things, he did not like Gauri keeping her hair open. Whenever Gauri used to talk to a boy, Shahrukh did not like it. When Gauri decided that she no longer wanted to have a relationship with Shahrukh. Shahrukh got his first offer from Hema Malini's "Dil Asha Hai" but his first film was "Deewana" which came in 1992.

Shahrukh has done hundreds of such films, but he got his first breakthrough the film Dil Hai Asha. The film was released on 26 June 1992. The director of this film was Raj Kavar Sahib, while the producers of this film were Guddu Dhanoa, Lalit Kapoor, Raju Kothari, and KK Nair.

After this, many of his films came one after the other like Karishma, Raju Ban Gaya Gentle Men, Maya Memsaab, King Uncle, Baazigar, Darr, and Pehla Nasha. In real life, he did not stammer, but his dialogue with Kakk Kiran became very popular.

In 1994, Shahrukh got the offer of the film Kabhi Ha Kabhi Na, in which he got only 25,000 rupees for the entire film. He also sold tickets from the ticket window in Mumbai on the first day of this film. Shahrukh's film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge became very popular.

When Shahrukh was shooting on the moving train of the song 'Chaiyya', only Shahrukh did not tie himself while all the actors tied themselves with belts for safety.
